Cream Of Tomato

Serves: 5 nos.

Cooking time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  • Kagome Tomato Soup Base 500 gms
  • Olive oil / Butter – Half tbsp
  • Minced garlic – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – One and a half tsp
  • Stock / water – 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper – 1tsp
  • Fresh cream – Three fourth cup
  • Croutons, for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil / butter in a large, heavy bottomed pot over medium low heat.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for a minute.
  3. Add the Kagome Tomato Soup Base, salt, and pepper and sauté well for 5-10 mins.
  4. Now add the stock / water and stir well.
  5. Bring the soup to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Add cream to the soup at low heat just until hot and serve with croutons.
