Cream Of Tomato
Serves: 5 nos.
Cooking time: 30 mins
Ingredients:
- Kagome Tomato Soup Base 500 gms
- Olive oil / Butter – Half tbsp
- Minced garlic – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – One and a half tsp
- Stock / water – 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper – 1tsp
- Fresh cream – Three fourth cup
- Croutons, for garnishing
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil / butter in a large, heavy bottomed pot over medium low heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for a minute.
- Add the Kagome Tomato Soup Base, salt, and pepper and sauté well for 5-10 mins.
- Now add the stock / water and stir well.
- Bring the soup to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add cream to the soup at low heat just until hot and serve with croutons.
