Murgh Tikka Masala Recipe

Serves: 4-5 nos

Cooking time: 35 mins

Ingredients:

  • Crushed Tomato 230 gms
  • Oil for Cooking
  • Tomato Puree 120 gms
  • Khova 15 gms
  • Sugar 10 gms
  • Cashew / Magaj paste 80 gms
  • Tikka Marination 100 gms
  • Garlic / Ginger Paste 30 gms
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1 tbsp
  • Chat Masala 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Butter 100 gms
  • Chicken Tikka Pieces 580 gms
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder 1tbsp
  • Green Cardamom Powder
  • Kasuri Methi 2 pinch
  • Cream 100 ml.
  • Water – 350 ml

 

Instructions:

  • In a pan take oil and butter add in the ginger garlic paste and sauté well. Add in little fresh cream, Kashmiri chilli powder, chicken tikka pieces and tikka marination and cook further. Add in the crushed tomato and cook for 10 mins adding in water as required. Add in the tomato puree and cook further.
  • Add the rest of dry masala powder and cook. Add in the cashew paste, sugar and khova and cook well adjusting the water consistency. Add paneer cubes and fresh cream and cook further. Finish the gravy with, Kasuri methi, cream and ginger juliennes garnish.
