Conquering the unknown has been the motto that has driven Rohit Bhatla during his career spanning over two decades. From leading a contingent in the Indian Army to building new businesses in the food processing domain for one of India’s largest Corporations, to paving the way for Kagome to find its footing in the Indian market, Rohit has always believed in creating newer paths of success.
In his current role Rohit spends a lot of time in understanding the constantly changing expectations of customers and going back to the drawing board to innovate and bring fresh offerings. The initial years with the Indian Army taught him to consistently work towards perfection and this has reflected well in his approach towards the business.
Earlier he spent nearly 14 years with ITC Limited across different businesses. His wide exposure across the entire Agri-Food value chain and in setting up new businesses for the Group prepared him to take up the mandate of introducing Kagome Foods in the Indian market.
He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Rohit was also among a select group of leaders from India chosen for the prestigious Chevening Gurukul Scholarship at the London School of Economics. Rohit’s passion for reading keeps him occupied during his free time and he keenly follows emerging business models in the agri and food tech segment.
